Open Source

• Source code: The QryptCoin source code is licensed under the MIT License. See LICENSE in the repository for the full text.
• Third-party components: QryptCoin includes third-party open-source components governed by their respective licenses. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md for attributions.

End User License Agreement

• Official binaries: Official QryptCoin binaries distributed from qryptcoin.org are subject to the EULA (v1.2, effective January 10, 2026).
• Scope: The EULA governs use of Official Binaries and sets expectations about risk, warranties, liability, and branding/trademark terms.
• Open-source rights preserved: The EULA does not revoke or replace your rights under the MIT License for source code.
• Full text: The EULA is included with the QryptCoin Core Wallet download and is displayed during installation.

Privacy

• Website: We aim to keep the site simple and avoid third-party advertising trackers. Basic server logs may be retained by the hosting provider for security purposes.
• Desktop software: The QryptCoin wallet and node software stores configuration files, logs, and wallet data locally on your device. The software does not transmit telemetry or usage data to external servers.
• Network data: Running a node exchanges data (transactions, blocks, protocol messages) with peers on the P2P network. This is inherent to blockchain operation, not telemetry.
• Local diagnostics: Diagnostic features display operational data locally and are not transmitted externally unless you explicitly choose to share them.

Trademarks

• Brand features: The names "QryptCoin," "QRYPTCOIN," the QryptCoin logos, and related visual branding are trademarks of QryptCoin Technologies, L.L.C.
• Nominative use: You may use brand features to refer to unmodified Official Binaries or describe compatibility with the QryptCoin protocol, without implying sponsorship or endorsement.

Changes

We may update this page and related terms from time to time. If material changes are made to the EULA, notice will be published via qryptcoin.org and/or the official source repository at least 30 days before the effective date. Continued use of the software after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
